What Is Our Purpose?
- Our ministry seeks to share the stories of how God has extraordinarily worked in the lives of ordinary people to encourage EVERYONE that God can use ANYONE to impact this Earth for Him! Ultimately, we hope to create a community of believers that can provide the resources to create a pro-bono clinic to provide medical services to underserved populations in the neighboring community.
What Do We Believe?
- Acts 4:13 - Now when they say the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated, common men, they were astonished. And they recognized that they had been with Jesus.
- Galatians 5:13 - For you were called to freedom, brothers, only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.
- 1 Thessalonians 2:8 - So, being affectionately desirous of you, we were ready to share with you not only the gospel of God but also our own selves, because you had become very dear to us.
How Did 2 MeN & A MiC Begin?
- On December 21, 2009, my life was forever changed when my father was struck by an unexpected heart attack at the age of 46 leaving my mother, my sister and myself alone and disheartened. My family decided to move back to my hometown of Bradenton, FL and the moment I returned, I felt a calling to begin a ministry to encourage others through what I had just experienced; however, consistently ignoring what God had placed on my heart for the next 2 years, I decided to retreat to my typical Christian lifestyle, leaving my desires for the ministry at Church. One evening, as I listened to a weekend service, God highlighted Acts 4:13 to me, in which I immediately grasped the direction in which He wanted to lead me in. It wasn't until that key moment in my life, that realized that God needed to use an ordinary somebody, like myself, to make an extraordinary impact for Him!
